I pray this is not true
If Commander Shepard died in the player's Mass Effect 2 playthrough, the player will be unable to import their save game. Mass Effect 3's story is a continuation of Shepard's story and if Shepard died in Mass Effect 2 that death is considered final.[41] Similarly, any squadmates who did not survive the suicide mission at the end of Mass Effect 2 will not return in Mass Effect 3.[42]
cause now i have to play through AGAIN not dying. this is my brass balls run on bioshock again!

Shepard can die?
And um, that makes sense. :P You should just be able to start a new game without continuing the ME2 story.

This might be the most confusing thing I'll read all day.
And did you think that if you died in ME2 that you wouldn't even be able to play ME3?
I remember reading something like this, only more like if your Shepard dies in ME2, he/she will not be returning in ME3. Never confirmed if it were true or not tho.

It makes a certain sense to me. If Shepard dies during ME2, and they need him for ME3, you'd have to ignore everything else that happened in ME2 and proceed as if you're in an alternate universe kinda of thing.

It makes sense sort of but still Sheppard died in ME2 at the beginning so who's to say that they won't rebuild him again for the third game if your character died? I'm sure they're not going to create two entirely different games based on whether you survived or not. I understand the whole side characters not living if they died angle but ME2 screwed with my save of the first and decided to go with the canon outcome even though I clearly had a different outcome.

Hell....where the express line has a 10 item limit and you somehow always end up with 11 items.

actually it takes all day since i have to do it on a budget so i go to 3-4 different markets to get my food. it takes about 3-5 hours if im not in a hurry
