Pulled directly off their Facebook page:
FarSight Studios is extremely proud to announce that we will be releasing a new pinball game in early 2012! We’ve been busy acquiring licenses, building new tables, and developing our technology on many platforms (including iPhone, iPad, and Android). We welcome all comments and table suggestions (we keep a running tally of all requests). We want to ensure that our game will be the definitive collection of classic pinball! Stay tuned for updates over the next few months!
The list of suggestions is pretty long. I hope they get some licensed tables, Addams Family being tops on my list.

I'd kill for Earthshaker. I played the hell out of that thing in college.

I desperately want to love pinball collections but I suck so bad at pinball it makes it hard for me to maintain my intrest for too very long :(

All of my pinball wishes were met with Medieval Madness on the last collection ... Twilight Zone would be my next choice, and I would imagine not a terribly expensive license to obtain if need be.
I suppose there's little to no hope of a STERN set containing some of their recent licensed table brilliance like Lord of the Rings and Indiana Jones.

Is there any reason why Pin-Bot/Bride of Pin-Bot wouldn't be on this? They weren't on the last compilation, so I assume it had something to do with licensing.
Would love to see Fish Tales, Cyclone, Theater Of Magic, and Terminator 2 on it. And Twilight Zone of course.

Pin-Bot was on every version of the William's collection.
I assume they just didn't license Bride of Pin-Bot. They said they included every table they had licensed, so they apparantly license these on an individual basis rather than having a license that gives them free reign to the entire library of whatever company they're dealing with. I imagine if they're dealing with the William's library again instead of something like a collection focused on Bally or Stern tables for something new (Which is what I'm hoping for), that it has an excellent chance.
I don't think there's much hope for tables that depended on expensive outside IP (Such as Terminator 2) since that would destroy their budget for a game that will likely be sold for $40 in fairly modest numbers. But perhaps something like the Twilight Zone license, if the IP holders don't have an unrealistic view of the worth of the IP, would be a possibility.

Have there been any releases for Circus Voltaire? I'd really like to see that one, Star Trek: The Next Generation and a version of The Shadow. I realize that the film adaptation of The Shadow was not the blockbuster that everyone was hoping for, but damn is that pin a good one.

Fantastic, I hope it is Bally focused. I really want Attack from Mars. What is the name of the Facebook page?

Which is why we'll probably never see a Data East collection. I don't care what anyone says, they made some of my all time favorite modern tables: Back to the Future, Lethal Weapon 3, and The Who's Tommy. I know a lot of people really like their Jurassic Park table as well.

Bah, Indiana Jones Pinball Adventure by Williams is superior! :D

I can't believe I've never seen or played that machine. I had to check out a youtube video, to see what it was all about. The cheesy 80's music works well with what I've seen of the table. It looks like a pretty cool pinball machine!

Williams 2?
Gottlieb 2?
Bally 1?
I'm buying it. If I can get Wii controls, I'm buying it.

Two tables needed:
(Haunted house)
They may have to talk to Microsoft about the rights for Haunted House. It was used in Microsoft Pinball Arcade, roughly 1999-ish. I am pretty sure that Pinball Arcade is the reason that the Gottlieb collection had such weak tables. Pinball Arcade had Baffle Ball (one of the first big-selling pinball games), Humpty Dumpty (first game with flippers), Knockout (neat 1950's boxing theme with playfield animation), some halfway decent wedgehead game from the 60's, Spirit of '76, Haunted House, and some shitbox billiards-themed game from the 90's.
I think we're due for a Bally collection. Bally always had great artwork.

Licenses usually don't run for 12 years, so the agreement probably lapsed years ago.

It's called Pinball Arcade. It will feature tables from Stern, Bally, Williams, and Gottileb. It will be available on XBLA, PSN for the Vita and PS3, 3DS, Windows, Mac, Android, and Apple platforms. It's due in early 2012 and promises regular updates for years to come (Following the model set by another popular downloadable pinball release, it appears). And we'll be seeing licensed tables make appearances.
The initial slate of tables (What was shown off in the trailer, at least) is Arabian Nights, Ripley's Believe It or Not, Black Hole, and Theatre of Magic (I know that last one will make a lot of people happy).
I normally prefer a physical release and hope we'll eventually get one in the future when downloadable additions to this ceases, but I think a downloadable model supports this concept to a tee. Will allow people to just buy what they actually want, it will hopefully see us get many more tables than we'd of gotten with a normal retail release, and it should make licensed tables far more viable rather than something not even worth wasting time hoping for.

Epic excitement.
Will admit a tinge of disappointment to see recycling of Arabian Nights.
Also, including Terminator 2 would cause me to buy copies for multiple platforms.

They included some really nice Williams and Gottileb titles in their past two collections. Would be ashame to see them ignored in this.
As long as we're still getting plenty of new additions, I welcome seeing some classics make an encore appearance on this.

It'd be nice to see the old tables as DLC for those who don't have the previous title.
Also, it'd be great if they patched the old game to get rid of that damned Harem multiball bug in Arabian Nights, as I'm sure it's been eradicated for the new game...

I hadn't heard this until just now.
I hope very much that they actually do games from all eras like the Gottlieb Collection. Oh, and whomever said that line up was weak, that is because the best Gottlieb tables were their EM titles, which they didn't really focus on at all. Once pinball went solid-state, Gottlieb never really caught back up.
I hope they do Attack from Mars. That's a non-secondary-licensed game that I think they could do pretty easily. Of the four tables announced so far, only Black Hole really interests me much at all. Hopefully, it's a solid line up, and one that this time spans more than a 10 year era of pinball like the Williams collection basically did.

I also would love to see Bride of Pin-Bot. Black Hole is a great table too, nice addition.

Their release schedule will be 2 tables a month. That combined with their promise of several years of support means we can expect over 50 tables to eventually be released, at minimum, if their plan works out as hoped.

Giving this a bump since it was released yesterday at 800 MS Points.
The lighting is changed just a bit to reflect more realistic conditions, and the ball physics are improved.
Extremely pleased and looking forward to more.

Saw this (called Pinball Arcade) when browsing the online shop and gave the demo a spin. I got that overall "bah, it's just another pinball simulator" feeling and was thinking about turning up my nose at it.
Then I found I played it solid for over a half hour and still wanted to play, and that was on the Tales of the Arabian Nights board I was grumbling to myself about. The lights seems a bit too bright, obscuring the ball a bit. Then again I never played the original so that could be how it is. Still, played the snot out of it.
I would sacrifice something over a fire if I could get Fire!, Fireball, Bad Cats or even Rollergames.

Ok...I'm sold. Playing the "Ripley's" table and the ball got stuck. After a bit the machine started going through its kickers in an attempted to dislodge the ball. I had to help it by doing some nudging. Just like the real thing.
Also found the camera adjust. WAY better when I can see the board.

I'm not interested in Tales of the Arabian Nights, since I played it to death on the Pinball Hall of Fame Collection, but the Ripley's machine has peaked my interest. What other tables are available now?

Had 2 of these tables on other compilations but I bought it anyway, mainly for Theater Of Magic. Not sure if I like it though because of the input lag I'm getting. It's not *that* bad, but it's still laggy enough to make a difference with my scores. Maybe I just need to play it more and adjust to it.
Funny thing is PHOF and Pinball FX2 feel fine and don't really lag on my tv. :|

The new ball physics in this one make the game feel smoother to me. Seems like there's a bit of extra weight on the ball.
Breezed through Tales with no issues.
Working on Theater of Magic, which I've come to enjoy quite a bit.
Black Hole is frustrating me with the goal of scoring 250k from the lower playfield. Just need more practice and work on a strategy, I guess.
Ripley's was fun and I had a successful first playthrough without really knowing the table rules. It'll be up next.
Pretty excited for Bride of Pinbot, and to see how the new physics affect Medieval Madness.

PS3 and Vita versions hit PSN today. Buy once, own on both. I like this, and look forward to having it on the go with an excellent screen. (3DS was disappointing)
