So I has a conundrum here.
I have Strider 2 for the Playstation. It has both discs and the original back insert, but its in a standard one-disc case and with no manual.
Now as I've said before I really don't like the Strider series as much as I used to, so more than once I've considered selling/trading this game. If I keep it I'm gonna want to get a replacement case and find the manual (I'm OCD about Playstation games being complete).
So what should I do:
A) Keep it on the off chance that I might like it again later, and try to CIB it
or
B) just sell/trade it?
Thanks.

Id just sell/trade it away. The case can be easy to replace, but do you really wanna spent 10$ or more on a manual for a game you dont like all that much? It is hard to find though..

I say sell or trade it.
I find that it's better to let games and merch' you aren't found of go. If you sell them, keep the monies you receive from them all separate from your other finances, and use that money to purchase high dollar games you may otherwise be hesitant to acquire.
It's hard for me to justify purchasing a high dollar game, however, when the money for it came entirely from offing other games that were just taking up space on my shelf or closet, it's win/win. You're not spending anything, you're just turning games into games (and clearing out junk). It's also a good way to justify high end collection purchases to your wife, or significant other.

Sometimes if I see a game at a store I have but not CIB I offer 10$ for the case and manual. Some places will let you do it also.

You, sir, are a genius.

Sometimes at Gamestop they have cases for games that actually aren't in stock and they let me have the box free when that happens. Also they don't care about manuals much so they often let those go for free; especially when you tell them "I bought this game here a long time ago but it was missing the manual; can I have this?"
I did that last one for Shadow the Hedgehog on Gamecube, except my game didn't come from Game Stop, It came from Game Crazy which used to be in the same building. When I said "here" I really meant "here in this building" not Gamestop as a company.

If you don't need money right now, I'd keep it. You never know when it'll pop up on someone's want list and that person has something you really want in return.

I've had that happen with me at Gamestop too, it was awesome. They had a LE version of the first Ar Tonelico with the box and artboox and I just wanted that since I already had a copy of the game. I asked the guy if I could buy just the box since I already had the game and he said "No, but I'll give it to you for free." I was floored and have continued to visit that GS more frequently just because it was so cool of them to do that.
