Maybe somebody can explain it, I can't give you too much info because it occured when I was a kid and don't remember all that way. But anyway, I was a big NES guy during my kid years and my Fathers co-worker had an NES multi-cart......it wasn't Action 52, it wasn't Caltron.....it was unique and actually had games like Donkey Kong 3....I remember that one...it was a weird looking shape cartridge with it looked like was in 2 pieces and and had a pink or purple ribbon on it to help with retrieving from the NES. I know all this is extremely weird, but I remember it and I sware it is true, I just wanna know, what the hell this cartridge is? Any ideas???

Sounds like a Famicom(from Japan) multi-cart with an adapter on it so it can play on a US system. They are pretty common now days and can be had for less than $20 for the cart and about $15 for the adapter. Some places have them for much cheaper.
There was a website selling a bunch of the Multi carts for $3. I will see if I can find it, someone on here posted it and a bunch of us ordered some.
Here is the topic :

Sounds like it was a Famicom bootleg with an adapter on it. The adapter would have that ribbon on it so you could still pull it out if the famicom cart came loose without pulling the adapter with it.
edit: MachineGex beat me to it.

Bootleg Famicom multicart attached to a Famicom to NES adapter. There are a zillion of them out there. Average value - $10.00.
