Exactly! That's the way they should have sold it "as chronicles" but, nooooooo, they sectioned it off and are selling it by itself for $9.99 >.>
I still consider it to be an snes classic regardless, just seems wrong to be calling it a "psone" classic. :p

Just a little wrong! If it was a psone classic, then why is Chronicles worthless while the SNES cart...
Ugh

Super Mario Bros is a classic but the cart is pretty much worthless. It doesn't have to be worth much for a game to be a classic.
The PS1 version of Chrono Trigger takes way too long to load, I sold that version off and haven't looked back. The SNES version is the one worth remembering.

Agreed. However, when you have the same game on 2 platforms, one being so highly regarded that it doesn't even need to be that rare to get decent money, and the other version had to be piggybacked w another classic to sell back then, and is now worthless...
It's like calling Shinobi and NES classic.

I thought about buying it today but then realized, "Wait, I have this on disc and it isn't even a very good version."

If this re-release fixes the loading issues, then at least it's a good version for people discovering the game for the first time.
And there's no reason it can't be a classic for both systems.
