I'm not sure how many (if any) other Utahns are around here but if you like shumps/shooters/STGs, Darius or anything that has a classic feel to it, we're hosting a location test for Taito's new Dariusburst Another Chronicle. This really is one of the coolest arcade titles to come along in some years, it has a lot of content and the dual-monitor, 4p co-op setup is pretty cool. not to mention the sound.

So if anyone is interested, stop by and check it out!

EDIT: I should add that this game will be making it's way to US arcades sometime this Winter. We're just helping test to give suggestions to Taito to make it a better game, alert them to any bugs (haven't found any yet aside from a coin door thing), etc.

Holy shit! Awesome! I live in SLC. Currently in the middle of moving and having a rough patch but in a couple months should be settled. I will for sure check the place out when things settle. there is no gaming stores in SLC anymore other than PnT & shitty GS and not seen an arcade in some time. Thank you so much for posting this!

Ah, what a game. I spent way too much playing this when I was in Japan a few months ago. I'm glad to see it's going to get an international release. Congrats on the location test, in Utah of all places!

Congrats on the location test, in Utah of all places!I was momentarily amused by the possibility that the game's title was in fact "Another Chronicle in Utah".

There is another game store in the mall here called Game Pedler. They are ok but what they carry is hit-or-miss (for me anyways).

As far as the arcade side goes, we've been here for three years and hopefully many more, although what we want to do is expand into a larger space so we can place more games.
