Hey everybody,
I'm completely new here... so sorry in advance if this is being posted in the completely wrong place. Or if it's a double post of some sort... I'm sure it's actually an 100duple post but I couldn't find a sticky with information so I thought I'd send this question out to the masses.
I recently reclaimed the SNES and N64 that were stolen from me during my teenage years (and by reclaimed I mean... bought replacement systems) and have been getting back into the legit retro gaming field after years of running emulators. The main question that I have though, which I'm sure has a hugely complicated answer, is where to shop.
I've seen some online retailers (JJgames.com for example) that have large supplies and good prices but can't be sure how much to trust them. The same goes for most eBay sellers. There's a local store here in Boston where I purchased the consoles but of course being a completely local one-man operation the place can't offer the same price line as online locations.
Thanks for any help you all can provide... I was surprised there wasn't a huge places-to-shop thread somewhere... maybe I just completely missed it!
P.S.
Off-topic... but has anybody had luck replacing N64 analog sticks with the gamecube-like model of amazon?

It seems great but some reviewers complained of lag/sensitivity issues in FPS games such as GoldenEye, which seems like a fairly major concern.
Thanks!
