I was wondering if any one has made a reproduction cart for Golden Axe 3...?

I removed the region lock out with a hex editor like you would have to do to run it on the everdrive. I then tested it on multiple emulators with no problems.

but when a reproduction cart is made I get graphical errors.

I thought maybe it was a pal vs ntsc problem, But then y does the game work with the game genie method.

The glitches consist of :
The gold knight in the back ground of the opening, The wagon that you fight on in the beginning, The game over screen, character shadows, several enemy's, all have graphic glitches.

Is there a program for changing the region? Maybe the hex edit method damages the game some how.

I'm no expert, but maybe something to do with the header?
Also, did you correct the checksum after patching?

You have to add the Game Genie codes for GA III to disable the lockout, and be able to play the game:

BT7T-CA9E -> write value 0x600C to address 0x13BE4
AA7T-CN9R -> write value 0x6600 to address 0x13BEE

Or get the Lunar IPS (http://www.romhacking.net/utils/240/) patcher application and use the IPS file here on Atari Age (http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/165041-sega-everdrive-flash-cart-official-mass-order-thread/page__view__findpost__p__2095197).
