USA N64 on europe - console import

So i managed to buy a american N64 and i was wondering if i can i use the european power adapter with it or do i need to get a stepdown converter? Few people on youtube said something about N64 power adapter being a multiregion adapter, but i'm not sure of that.

But i actually once had a US Wii and it was working fine with a european Wii power adapter.

AFAIK, as long as the EU output volts, etc. match up with the the USA adapters version, this shouldn't be an issue.

External transformers, such as with the N64 and Wii, you can use the European version on a US console without issue.
