Go to a thrift shop and buy an entire deck. I've gotten easily fixable blinking NES decks for as little as $2.99 at Value Village.
Granted, at a Goodwill today, I saw a no doubt blinking NES deck, with nothing else(no cables, RF or AC or controllers) for $29.99. It'll still be there when I go back I'm sure.
There's no way buying and shipping a part will be cheaper than getting an orphan deck somewhere. Plus, you'll get a swack of spare parts! That's the way the car guys do it.

Go with what omnedon said. I see NES decks at thrift stores all the time.
Or steal a friends when he is not looking.

Or, when the clerks aren't looking, take it off of the old deck, and take it up to the counter. Then say, "How much is this?"

That would be dishonest and what comes around goes around.
Just like the fucks selling nes decks with no cables for 30 bux will get theirs eventually.
Ill be the first to buy a rare game marked at 5 bux and haggle it down to 4$ and turn around and sell it for 50$....... thats just the way the world works but theres such a thing as honor amongst thieves. And flat out lying, cheating or stealing are againsts the game hunters code of ethics. the rest of the 10 commandments..well they arent carved in stone.. well they are but...

besides, most thrifts won't sell untagged merch. If you take it to the counter, it causes their heads to melt.

It's worth a shot, though.
About those Commandments... I agree completely, but in my opinion, Goodwill and other donation places are fair game. Except for the stealing part. That's just being an asshole.
