Hello. I put a Japanese ps1 game in my ps2 that I just got, I knew it wouldnt work but thought I would try anyways. It loaded in as a music CD and had 3 tracks, Track 2, Track 3 and Track 4. Track 2 had a japanese girl talking on on it. Track 3 was music and Track 4 was empty.

I hadn't ever heard of this before, have any of you? The game was Samurai Spirits RPG or Shinsetsu Samurai Spirits Bushidouretuden

Lots of disc-based games can be used as music CDs. Sometimes they're hidden tracks, and sometimes you can listen to the whole soundtrack if it's redbook.

I always put a new PS1 game into a CD player to see if it'll play. I think most of the Twisted Metal games did this.

Try castlevania sotn, theres an amusing voice over from alucard then a remix track that wasn't used in the psx version (was used on the saturn version)
