Hello there,

I have got a bunch of Xbox games that may or may not be previous rentals, but I have noticed that some of the Xbox games have black cases. Again, since I did not buy these new, perhaps they were just switched at some point?

Does anybody know if any original Xbox games came with black cases (instead of the green ones). I know that Platinum Hits games came in the grey ones. Is there any other colors out there that I am missing?

But I can't make any black cases out, but perhaps they were in some of the slip-cover cases? Can anybody confirm/deny?

If memory serves me correctly; I think that all of them were in green cases save platinum hits. Unless you count the few steel book case cames like Doom 3 limited edition.

I'm pretty sure that those are just swapped out cases. The only non-green XBOX cases that I know of are the silver Platinum Hits ones, and the metal special release cases, like HALO 2 Limited Edition, and Doom 3.

No black cases, just like in that photo.

Often stores give game a generic DVD case. That's all you got. Xbox was only green & silver cases.

It would probably be cheaper to pick up some cheap sports titles and swap them out. That's been my plan...

you can buy them in bulk fairly cheaply here and they are in new condition. Also they send coupons if you join their email list.
