The newest poll. No doubt you'll check many of the boxes. Should be interesting.

If the truth were told, I doubt I'd be collecting much of anything apart from ebay. Sure I pick up games and systems from other sources, but this is the exception.

Does Freecycle count as an Online Forum?

Mostly ebay for me, although I picked up a few N64 games from a small country town shop while on a road trip. Also a few bits and pieces from http://www.gametraders.com.au/ shops, who do a lot of retro stuff. It is nice to walk into a shop and discover something old and interesting (",). Sadly they've had to shut a few shops down :(

Not games, but related, I've picked up a few CRT tellies from Freecycle...

When I am looking for something specific I usually use Ebay or Amazon and when picking up lots I usually use Craigslist.

I've tried to do the flea market/Goodwill thing that members here recommend but I've literally found nothing in all the places I've gone game wise and have given up on that scene.

I generally go to these places for games these days...

local mom/pop games shops
flea markets
game forums (such as here, AA, shumps)
Craigslist

*I've actually have done really well with Craigslist in the past couple years! since I'm focusing heavily on 'pre-crash' stuff, I'm getting most my things here as shops and markets don't really have good stock on pre-NES stuff it seems…

from around 1999-2008 I used eBay quite a bit, but these days it just seems like everything I search is all BINs and priced high
back then, there were many auctions and a timely bid would land a great deal, but it just doesn't seem so these days…
