360 FIFA 12 w/ scratches

I know these scratches are pretty common. Are they usually fatal? Can they be buffed out? These don't seem deep... you can't feel them, which is usually my criteria for if buffing will work or not.

Also, I have the EA Online Pass code w/ the game, but don't know if it has been used. Is there a way to check? I don't have a 360 and don't know anyone local that has one either. If someone reliable on here wanted to check its status for me (if that can be done) I'd be very grateful.

I picked this up at a Goodwill for 14.99 and from the stickers on it it is clearly a Target returned item. It was taped up tight so I couldn't check the disc in store. I can return it to GW still. I'd rather sell or trade it, though if it is worthwhile to do so.

What would you do? How much is it worth as is?

Use toothpaste to remove scratches :)

I'd guess about 35.00 if the code is used. 40.00 if it isn't

Those scratches are fixable. I've got some scratch paste (think similar to a car buff) that I had to use on my copy of Halo 3, CoD4 and a few other games that one of my 360's gouged to hell before that lens died. The stuff I use came from one of the music stores I worked years ago, but it was just an off the shelf stuff that we sold.
