The number one hurts my gamer soul...

And ps Pokemon black and white should be counted as the same game... I wonder what game got bumped off the list because of this...

I wonder if anybody realizes that the Wii Remote cannot sense whole body movement, and that Kinect is a better a platform for those types of games.

I think thet should do a Marilyn Manson: The Experience. I'd at least rent it.

This list is really scary. What it says to me is that my tastes represent a niche market, and no publisher is going to want to cater to them when they make more $ off dance games and military shooters.

And I know that new super mario is great, but that little ds game has been in the top 20 for 6 years now. Thats just crazy.

NPD sales tracking isn't totally irrelevant, but it's close. I believe they only had access to walmart sales earlier this year, and they don't track used or digital sales, for the most part.

This list ignores a lot of other stuff.

Five years later 360 versions are still outselling PS3 versions despite the free online multiplayer appeal. Based on that list the one exception was Mortal Kombat but thats a direct result of the Kratos inclusion. The PS3 version of Battlefield 3 was suppose to have additional content over the 360 version so perhaps that will also propel the PS3 version over the 360 one.

Hmm, for me I always go for fighters on the PS3 over the 360 due to the controllers, though I accept maybe not everyone feels this way.

Back OT, that list is basically the reason I still have my Dreamcast hooked up.
