Capcom has learned its lesson. During its Gamer's Day (http://www.joystiq.com/tag/capcom-gamers-day-2011) event in San Francisco, the company confirmed that Resident Evil: Revelations would allow players to wipe their save data, should they choose. For the unaware, this lack of functionality in Capcom's previous 3DS title, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D (http://www.joystiq.com/game/resident-evil-the-mercenaries-3d), caused quite an uproar (http://www.joystiq.com/2011/07/04/capcom-claims-re-the-mercenaries-3d-save-controversy-wont-happ/). Admittedly, it's possible to wipe the save data, it's just extremely complicated (http://www.joystiq.com/2011/07/04/if-you-must-delete-that-resident-evil-the-mercenaries-3d-save/).
In addition to that news nugget, Capcom also revealed that Resident Evil: Revelations will support the Circle Pad Pro, but currently has no plans to offer a bundle. The Circle Pad Pro is currently slated to launch in Japan (http://www.joystiq.com/2011/09/13/nintendo-3ds-bizarre-circle-pad-attachment-coming-to-japan-dece/) on December 10. Nintendo has yet to reveal launch details for North America.
Capcom had a working unit on hand at Gamer's Day, which we soiled with our sweaty mitts - you can read all about it here (http://www.joystiq.com/2011/10/31/a-circle-pad-revelation-for-resident-evil-revelations/).
