Note: This is being cross-posted to as many Sega specific forums as I can find, but as DP is my “home” board, I’m asking here first.
I’ve decided to take it upon myself to create a simple repository of original box contents for Sega Games. Basically, I just want to have a listing for each game with a simple picture of the original box contents in an exploded view. There is no possible way I can do this myself , so I need your help.
I’d like to put out a call primarily to those guys who buy sealed games and who actually open them. I would like you to take a picture of each game and what came inside. Simple as that. If you know you have a complete copy, even if it wasn’t sealed when you got it, that will help as well. I’m assuming the vast majority of games came with nothing but their cart and manual in the box, and that’s fine too.
The purpose of this is to document this, since I don’t think anyone’s really tried yet. Second, it’ll be a help for the truly insane completists who want every little greeblie to feel like they have a true complete copy.
If you’d like to help, all I ask I that you take a picture of the contents of your complete game, and e-mail it to me at justrob@segainsanity.com. I plan to have listings for every game for every system, as long as it says sega on the box, it has a place.
Questions, comments, support, criticism, I want to hear all of it. Please post here.
