Looks like there's a new Humble Indie Bundle, kinda. Selling a new game, Voxatron (http://www.humblebundle.com/).

Not sure about this one. Site mentions that it'll be $15 for the game, but we can pay what we like, of course. I'll be getting it, but I'm going to hold out for a bit and see what else they toss at us.

The way I understand it, it sounds very minecraft like sales wise.

The game is going to cost 15 on release, but here you can pay what you want for the alpha and get al the upcomming updates for free. Although I do question why they would add the release cost to the description so maybe I'm wrong.

Regardless based on the current trend of HBIs I don't see a reason not to jump on this sooner rather then later. You pay what you want now and get anything they add later as a bonus or you can wait for something you want to pop up then be forced into something like the average match they did recently. Even if you don't want this I wee no reason to not give them a dollar just incase something pops up, not to mention the charity aspect.

Yeah, about five minutes after I made the topic I went ahead and got it. If nothing else, charity is a worthy expense.

I bought it.

It plays like Robotron! The controls are kinda weird (WASD + ZX / CV / Space & Number pad / Mouse) and I keep getting my ass kicked, but it's not bad.

I bought it with $5, and plan to donate more once I get more money.

No bundle at all. I'm somewhat sad to see this happen. On one hand i was hoping such a model for releasing new games would catch on, but i would really love a proper bundle again. :< Well overall it's still good. :)

What do you guys (that already have it) think about the game they offer this time?

Just added: Pay more than the minimum of $3.73 (as of this writing) and get The Binding of Isaac and Blocks That Matter thrown in.

Quite tempted. I'm curious about Isaac, since it's basically a Team Meat thing, but i never would have payed for Isaac, as it isn't the kind of thing i tend to like. You win again Humble Bundle. I guess that's one of the strong points of a operation like that, and let's not forget charity.

I hesitated last night because I didn't think they would add anything, or at least not something I didn't already have that I would still be interested in. Sigh.

The two games they added are pretty good. Binding of Isaac is balls hard.

Binding of Isaac is awesome. I made a thread about it back when it came out (http://digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=157050).

Got it and played it by now, and yes it's a little tough, but who cares? There are not enough games like it as it is - casual but challenging. It's heaps of fun and i'm very surprised by it, even though it really lacks a bit on the technical side as it doesn't even really work with widescreen resolutions. I'm surprised in a very pleasant way, that also applies for Blocks That Matter though, which also is tons of fun.

Everyone should get this bundle.

Gamepad support?
If not, this game can GTFO.

REAL MEN USE KEYBOARDS

Smart men use XPadder.

That's rather unqualified considering the plethora of ways around this issue if you consider it one at all. Xpadder is the best solution indeed.
It costs money but it's excellent, but there are free solutions. I play all of these games with mouse and keyboard and i find it works best.

Didn't the latest patch add gamepad support?
