So I'm thinking about grabbing a ps3 on black friday (ya im brave/dumb enough to put up wit the crowds) What do you think the 160 gb ones will go for? Retail is $250.00 I'm guessing $200 with a game or 2 bundled in. What do you guys think?

I hope they have similar deals on 360s. I am just waiting for a good deal on one. I have a Japanese 360 but some U.S. games are not compatible with it.

You usually don't see price cuts on consoles because retailers sell them almost at cost. Instead you'll see bundles for the same price as a new console. Wal-mart is doing a pre-holiday sale next week giving you a $50 gift card for a 250gb 360. Fry's had a ridiculous deal that was only for today: 320gb PS3 with Uncharted 3 and Battlefield 3 for $300.

I believe Radio Shack is going to be offering a 160gb for $200 with a $20 giftcard. Also as others mentioned, you'll see more bundles than anything. Sometimes they throw in a giftcard on top but not much.

Last year, you could get a PS3 for $149 but they were offered in very limited quantities and only through CitiCard and MasterCard Marketplace offers.

Well it will be a nice way for you to get some PS3 games if you don't already own any. Beyond the bundle packages there will be many deals on regular game software, including PS3 games. But as far as price goes, I don't expect to see any PS3 deals lower than $250.

At one point I used to have 3 different PS3's in my house (long story) Then, I ended up with 2 of them. Ended up selling both because I needed money for stuff. I mostly game on PC right now, but I'd like to get a PS3 back. When I sold my last PS3, part of the reason I sold it is because it's one of the fat ones, and the fan could get really, really loud. I took a huge bath in selling it, but I kinda figured that the money would go towards a new PS3. I don't mind the lack of backward compatibility, because I have a PS2 and PS1 that I still use.

Of course, the money that I got from selling the second one ended up getting spent on just misc stuff, and I still don't have a PS3. I'm waiting for Amazon to have a $199 deal. That would be the most ideal situation for me, considering there is no tax, which saves me almost $20 right there. Hard to beat buying at a place with no tax.

I don't think we will see a below MSRP price on a PS3. As others have said, the margin on systems is razor thin...I mean like five bucks...so the only way you'll see the price on a system go down is either an official price drop or a credit card deal. IMO.

There are definitely going to be some $199.99 deals on the smaller hard drive version. Of course, it will be limited quantities, and only the people willing to camp out will be able to snag em.

The deal I want is Amazon. $199.99 at Amazon. I don't even need any extras included, but something like the Sly Collection would be tight..

They don't quite have a $199 deal, but they do have the $249 deal with free shipping and a free $50 Amazon gift card right now...

That's not a bad deal at all. Also noticed their 360 deals are decent... a 4gb Bundle w/ Gears 3, 3 months of Live, and $50 gift card for $199, and a Console/Kinect bundle w/ a $50 gift card for $199. The $99 Wiis will sell like crazy too, I'm sure.

Is that available online, or in-store only? My mom want a Kinect...

Wow, the rumers were true. I looks like radio shack is running the same deal. I hope amazon has it two. I would like to get the 3 year square trade warrenty and Black friday crowds suck.

For the Kinect bundle? I believe its in-store only, but not completely sure. The Gears bundle is 100% online. Here's the ad...
