Uncharted 3 code

For Uncharted 3 for ps3, what's the included game code included with the manual? Is it for registering the game or is it a demo for another game? Reason I ask is I had a customer at my store return the game, saying the code didn't work, was "Invalid and already used," so wondering if that was just for a demo or for U3 itself.

It is an online pass that gives access to mulitplayer modes.

There are two codes. One is the Starhawk beta, the other is the Uncharted 3 Online Pass.

Kaine, or anyone else who owns a store, there is a flaw with the Uncharted 3 online passes. If you turn on Uncharted 3 and then go to the online, it'll say you need the pass. There is an option to purchase the pass or use your registration key.

The registration key does not work when you're in game. It'll say that it's not valid.

In order for it to work you need to exit out of the game and go to the account settings and input the code there. It actually works there. It's weird. So if a customer mentions it, you can bring up that it won't work if they go to multiplayer in game. It's required to do it through account settings.

The Starhawk beta is on a slip of paper. The Uncharted 3 code is on the back of the manual. I'd tell your customers to go do it through their account settings and if it doesn't work there, which it will, then contact Sony and say it's a known issue(which it probably isn't, but yeah.) You shouldn't take a loss on something that is the developers fault and since the codes work.

Yup, then it was the Starhawk beta code he got angry about wanting a replacement game.
