Abobo's Big Adventure (http://www.abobosbigadventure.com/)

So the good folks at I-Mockery appear to be working on a game where you play as Abobo and fight through various recreations and reinterpretations of NES games. I was expecting another knock-off like Monster Time or The Human Centipede game, both of which were humorous near-exact clones, but this game actually looks awesome from the trailer.

I've been browsing I-Mockery since I first crawled onto the Internet in 2000 and it's pretty crazy to see them attempt something like this. What do you guys think?

That was awesome. The game looks extremely fun to play and it'd be cool to see just how many more games/movies are referenced in the game.

Pro Wrestling?

YES PLEASE!

Yet another reason to bust out the USB NES pad and fire up Joy to Key!

I really should check out I-mockery again, I used to visit the site often but haven't in a few years. The game looks great and I'll play it when it's finished.

I can only hope this will be made real too.

I always knew that Flash gaming would produce something so incredibly legendary and awesome that the internets would explode and all of the gaming goodness of the past 30 years would be distilled into its purest form, like a super-dose of pure euphoric sucrose delivered via D-pad, to be transmitted into the veins of gamers everywhere. Truly, with the advent of so much indie gaming, those days are upon us. This game may very well be the zenith of the entire history of gaming, and I eagerly await its coming.

There was so much stuff in that video. The JoJo and Eva references surprised me, but in a good way.

DEATH BLOSSOM.

Yes! I would give them money for this if it didn't mean they would then get sued!

If that's the case, donate on their main page. I-Mockery has been an admittedly fanservice-heavy site for a long time now.

I've always felt that Abobo was a vastly overlooked videogame character. Anybody else remember Abobo's bitch slap athon.
