They weren't going to make money on this demo anyway, but I can't imagine that they are happy.

I played it for a bit, it was good.

While I like the idea of Link finally being able to run... that fatigue bar...

I don't like fatigue being taken into account when pushing blocks or climbing vines.

Also, does anyone else think that this game looks way too much like Twilight Princess?

In the sense that they all look similiar? Sure, I gues it looks like a Zelda game.

I checked out about 30 seconds of the dungeon video, thanks for posting. I don't want to spoil the game by watching everything but I am looking quite forward to this release. Fingers crossed that it lives up to the hype!

The overall reviews that have been made have expressed that the the game is indeed quite good. While I wish that I could play the Zelda game with a standard controller, The game is getting rave reviews, on actually using the motion controls with strategy. Considering how much of a game drought the system has had, there will not be too many A+ titles coming out for the system, so I am glad that this one will be coming out for people owning the system.

I did notice it had a very similar style to the twilight princess game.
And in a way i hope this means a possible continuation of twilight princess story line?

I personally felt theres so much more to tell with midna charecter in play when i beat twilight princess..
But i know with Zelda games theres a new story line for every game sorta. Except for majora's mask. Which we know didn't do the greatest in following up to the sale hype of OOT. But hey it tried.

Real quick question. I have downloaded the file, but now do I put it on a dvd disc or card? My Wii is soft modded but I am unsure as to actually play the demo, sorry for being a little stupid on the matter and thanks in advance for any help!

I notice some similarities. But I see just as much Wind Waker there as I do Twilight Princess. It has seemed like a blend of the two since I first saw pictures and video of the game.

It has a very unique style unlike any other Zelda game.

skyward sword got a near perfect score:

http://wii.ign.com/articles/121/1212220p1.html

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is the greatest Zelda game ever created. It's the best game for Wii and one of the finest video game accomplishments of the past 10 years. The game has once again raised the bar and forged new territory for an iconic and innovative franchise. It's not enough that it finally establishes a powerful, stirring origin story or that it features near-perfect pacing. What puts Skyward Sword over the top is its layered, dense, absolutely perfect gameplay that manages to not only nail motion-controlled combat but remarkably offers a stunning level of diversity.

Sounds like a nice swan song for the Wii. I just hope we don't have another 5 year wait to finally see a Zelda game built from the ground up for the Wii U.
