hey, so as i have mentioned on this forum before i'm looking to open a retro game store sometime next year. naturally i want to have tournaments and other retro gaming events at my store, and i was just wondering how many people in the south florida area would show up to these kind of events? Can we get a role call of our south florida fan base?
...i'm kind of worried that i won't have the turn out for retro events and may have to stick to modern gaming events....

In South Florida? Heck no dude, you gotta meet FamicomFreak for sure.
I'm in South West Florida, and am up for an event if one happens within a two hour drive. I'll try and check interest with everyone else. There's JustRob and FamicomFreak in South Florida, and then me, Penguin, and sixwayshot in South West Florida.

I'd be down to make the trip to visit. I should be in the Orlando area next summer, moving there around July.

I'm in Lake Worth, FL just south of WPB. Keep me posted if there are any retro gaming events coming up.
I'm into emulation for arcade and consoles (Atari 2600 to SNES) and use the X-Arcade controller as well as USB Atari2600 and NES controllers.
