Hello fellow members. This will be my first post here on these forums, and I hope to be of service when I learn enough to help others.
I recently bought a Sega Genesis model 2 on ebay with a whole load of games that look to be in excellent condition. Everything on the console looks to be in order, and after taking it completely apart, I noticed that the dc port had a whole mess of green corrosion on the inside of the barrel entry.
So my question is this: does anyone know the proper and exact replacement jack that I will need to repair this console? I'm relatively handy with the soldering iron so that isn't a problem for me. It seems that the dc jack is of the three pronged variety, with two spider leg connectors on the sides and a single thick connector perpendicular to the other two farther back.
If anyone has a matching model number or equivalent it would be most helpful. Again thanks for your time.
