I'm new to the fourms, as of today.

So, hello everyone.

I am an avid(addicted) collector.

I have a fairly decent CiB GBA collection.

I was wondering if anyone knows what GBA games are the rarest complete(besides the obvious Ninja 5-0 and Animaniacs)?

From my experience, over the last few years, here's what I've found are rare or rarely show up on the net(ebay/amazon/half/) with box/manual:

*Doom(legit copies anyone??)
*Doom II
*Duke Nukem Advance
*Pocky Rocky with Becky
*Pinball of the Dead
*The Bee Game(I've never even seen a cib copy besides the sealed one I own)
*DemiKids Dark Version
*Aladdin
*Buffy Advance
*Contra III
*Kao the Kangaroo

I know there are more.

Anyone know of any, maybe, Blockbuster only releases like Hagane or NFL Blitz special edition?

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot. . . .

I don't think anyone has a US copy of that Animaniacs game...I know they keep saying it was released but I've only seen UK ones....Little League Baseball is pretty tough, Moto Racer is pretty tough (heck I didn't even know about it until 2-3 years ago)..

EDIT: I also have a sealed copy of The Bee Game...I don't recall it being that hard to get but it was a late release...

I didnt know Lights Camera Action was a UK game. Was the DS version only released in the UK also?

Wow at Little League. Didnt know about that one. Moto has a cib copy on Amazon at $40 right now. From the description it sounds like its minty.

Does your copy of the Bee Game have the flap bottom or folded bottom?

I don't know my copy Of the Bee Game has, I just know it's factory sealed...I don't really pay attention to variants....

DS version of Animaniacs was also UK only...these games did get to a point where manuals/boxes may exist but Ignition changed over at one point in the US...so they didn't get published but they were approved...I would assume some boxes/manuals might be out there one of these days but who knows where they would be...

What about Robotech? I don't see many complete US copies.

Robotech is definitely up there.

There are a few up on Amazon(2 new and 3 complete or in the box) and one on ebay.

Condition wise, they look and sound like trash(save for maybe the new ones, but they dont have pics) and most dont even mention the pack in figure.

I could see this going for a premium 10 years down the road because of that figurine, not to mention possible scarcity.

Really? Is this rare or are there two Robotech games for the GBA?

We're looking into it, appears rare to find complete from a quick look. As the above user mentioned. There aren't two games.

Weird. I bought it new when I got my GBA and still have it complete in mint condition. Maybe I should sell it and let someone complete their collection?

The PAL version doesnt look like it comes with the figure.

That might be why you think there is 2 versions of Robotech?

If you sell it, and its mint with the figure, id say you could get $30-$35 out of it. And once the 2 new ones are Amazon are gone, maybe more.

I want a copy pretty bad at the moment, but I have to focus on other systems right now.

I'd hold onto to it if I were you. ^_^

I don't think Robotech is tough to find at all...

What about Book Worm and Extreme Ghostbusters?

pink panther gba is pretty hard to find complete too.

Been watching King of Fighters EX2 for a while.

Seems like another pretty rare CiB gba game.

Also, Care Bears Care Quest is pretty rare complete.

Another is the game Sheep. I see two copies of cart only. Cheapest is $25. No boxed copies up.

Droopy's Tennis too. Cant find a single copy, cart or boxed.

Also, Worms blast.

Invader is another GBA i found that is rare.

This one is rarer than the others we have mentioned though.

I cant even find a cart only copy.

Anyone know if this is a US game? The box art looks like it is.

Rocky advance is kinda hard to find. Only a couple complete copies up on ebay. 0 on amazon and half.

No one is going to buy this game to play it i assume, so that could be why there are copies up on ebay.

Trash cart only, but with the box and manual its a $30+ game.

ok, so some new findings.

1.) Ice Nine. I can only find a few new copies, starting at around $48 and up. There are currently 0 opened complete copies up. Cart only copies are pretty expensive at $20+. Looks like a neat game too.

2.) All of the Magical Quest games seem to be rare complete but magical quest 3 is without a doubt the rarest . I just so happened to have missed out on a CIB copy on ebay a couple of months back. I was skeptical about buying it because I had only recently stumbled upon the game. I should have bought it >.< there hasn't been another complete copy on any site I check since that one.

3.) Mortal Kombat Advance and Mortal Kombat Tournament Edition (Advance) are also hard to find complete. MK Deadly Alliance Advance shows promise. But its not anywhere near as scarce cib as the other 2 MKs.

4.) Wings. Look it up.

5.) Last, we have another Atlus game that has two versions: Robopon 2 Cross version. Robopon 2 Ring version is the cheaper counterpart. Like Demi Kids Dark and Light, another set of 2 Atlus GBA games, one is quite difficult to find, while the other is everywhere. Ill never understand why Atlus did both sets of games like that, with one version being harder to find than the other. Whatever the case, the games didnt seem to sell(or maybe Cross version sold more?) and Cross version can be picked up for around $40 new on amazon, but there's only 3 copies up/left and once again, they're on amazon, so you might get a fake ass game. And if anyone cares, Ring Version can be picked up for under $10 new.

P.S. I got a cib copy of Duke Nukem Advance today!!! Its mint crispy too!

P.P.S. I dont care if im talking to myslef ^_^

Mega Man & Bass was pretty rare complete up until a few months ago. Now there's like 6 cib copies on amazon and 2 sealed copies($75 and $100) on ebay. Still one to look out for in the future.

I know this thread is almost like a year old, but the 2 rarest GBA games in any condition are Math Patrol and Word Safari, both by the same publisher.

Hate to necrobump, but I recently became aware of a gba title that seems pretty hard to track down called "(4 Games in 1) - GT Advance + GT Advance 2 + GT Advance 3 + Moto GP". From what I understand, this game wasn't released in retail, but through a daily eBay deal.

I've seen a few of these up for auction at NA sealed, and they went for a pretty high price.

Anyone know more about this game/its history?

Sorry for the bump, been away for a while.

Math Patrol and Word Safari are definitely hard to find/rare with box/manual or sealed.

And Mathias(<3 Shawn Matthias BTW) I have never heard of or seen that game. Is there anyway you can post some pics or share a link if youre still around?

Is it really that rare? There's a whole bunch of new ones on Amazon:

rarest complete GBA game I know of is Guru Logi Champ (aka- Guru Guru Logic Champ.)

In 10+ years I've seen it twice, and I bought it the second time it popped up.

Besides being a quick-paced, challenging and deceptively simplistic mind bending puzzle game, Guru Logi Champ is also one of the last two games released by legendary developer Compile, having been released on the same day as Zanac Neo.
