What IS it? It looks like a PS1...but the seller claims its not.

(I would have posted it in the ebay forums...but its not an outrageous auction....sooooo...yeah.)

It's one of those pirate famicom systems. When you open up the lid it has a regular famicom cartridge slot.

I kinda want the cart...cause it has Contra with the Serious Sam artwork...that rules!

Heh, the 'PolyStation'....

They were advertising these things on late night TV a while ago.

Currently they're showing an ad for this other Famicom rip-off system called 'Arcade Action' - it's basically looks like an N64! LOL

The joke's on the buyer's though, as these things cost about $150 AUS!!! O_O

RIAA is tracking anyone who buys these.

I had one theyre kinda cool but built like shit.

Maybe pick up the multi carts they definitely have cool stuff on them.

The box with claims of "8,000 games!" is funny too. the most actual games i ever seen one have is maybe 40 or so.

I even had one that looked like a lap top but the screen was a small lcd with tetris and it plugged in through avs with famicom games built in including a basic program to use the keyboard with but the memory was bad so it corrupted and froze 5 minutes into messing with it.

These dodgy famicom clones aren't too bad if you can get one that has the cartridge port as well as the built-in games. Provides a cheap way of playing famicom games. :)

Here's the one I've got -

64 games built in and a cart slot round the back.
