Power Player Super Joy III?

If memory serves correctly, I think I remember reading that the built-in multicart of the Super Joy III could be removed and placed in a regular NES cartridge.

Is this actually possible, or do I remember wrong?
I can't seem to find anything on this.

It's a regular 60 pin Famicom cartridge, requires a 60-to-72 pin converter to work.

If you're asking if you can crack one open and pop it in an NES cart, I'm pretty sure that the built in software on the Super Joy is a NOAC under a silicone glob and it's integrated on the main control board.

I don't think that there are any 60 or 72 pin connectors that you could drop into a NES or Famicom cartridge even with the appropriate converter board.

Most of those Super Joy sticks DO however have a Famicom cartridge port on the bottom of the joystick that will accept a game.

Some Super Joy systems come with the games on a separate board. I found one that had no cart slot, but the board was inside, and it could be removed.

Ah, alrighty then, if that's the case then you can crack them open and swap out the board. I assume if it doesn't have a cart slot that's a good indication that they have a famicom board in there.

Alright. If I can find one that isn't ridiculously expensive, I plan on picking one up so I can attempt to do this.

power joy cartridges are just a pirate famicom cart, honestly dont know why you would want to stick one in an nes casing when theres about a million different BETTER multi-carts out there.

I did it. You need the little black cart and a converter. I used the gyromite cart one. I even took the powerjoy label of the cart and stuck it on the Nes cart. Why anyone one would do this... becuase it's fun, it's easy and it's cheap.
