Just picked up a Super Game Boy and two gameboy games, super Mario land and mega man. The screen loads up fine and I even hear the super game boy chime but the games themselves have no sound? Did I get a bad super game boy? Is there anyway to fix this this?

Worst case might be a bad sound chip? I would think Super Game Boy has that inside.

are you running it off some weird clone system? The SGM needs +5v to run. But while unlikely, it IS possible you got a bad SGB.

Gameboy audio is generated in the cart, it then goes through the extra connectors on the cartridge and goes to the system and is mxed inside the SNES.

If you are using a clone I would assume some clones don't have all the necessary connections/don't mix the audio. If you are not using a clone make sure the cart edge is clean, specially the 2 extra rows on the sides of the main cart connector.

I have a similar issue too. Mine shows up on screen but the sound is soooooooooooooooooo low I have to turn up the TV sound way high to listen.
