Fighting Vipers, Eternal Champions, Fighters Megamix (my personal favorite), Sonic The Fighters, Virtua Fighter Kids and more... SEGA has created many fighting games over the years but they have mainly stayed dormant over the course of time with the exception of Virtua Fighter. What makes your favorite series deserving of a revival?

Eternal Champions! Thought the Character design was really cool and they all had some interesting background stories. It would kick major ass if they were to release a new version for the Arcade/PS3/Whatever

Eternal Champions, simple as. Nowadays the only Sega fighting franchise seems to be Virtua Fighter and we haven't had an installment of THAT in over four years. I'd personally love to see a Fighters Megamix 2, but not just featuring Virtua Fighter and Fighting Vipers characters, you can have Eternal Champions characters, Streets of Rage, Ryo from Shenmue, Joe Musashi, Wonderboy, hell even Chuck D. Head. They made those so-so tennis and kart games, why not a fighting game?

I would be ecstatic if Sega made a new Eternal Champions. I loved the first one, but I never got around to playing the SCD sequel; I heard it was even better. The stage fatalities were awesome.

I gotta say though, if there's one Sega franchise I desperately want to be revived it's SoR.

Last Bronx is probably my favourite, but I like almost all of Sega's fighters.
A new VF Kids would be cool.

Most of the fighters you mentioned are based on Virtua Fighter mechanics, so I'm not particularly eager for updates to most of the 3D Sega Fighters.

However, if Sega were to create sequels I'd love a Virtua Fighter sequel to Virtua Fighter 3 mechanics/button layouts and stages. If Street Fighter III: Third Strike is the ultimate 2D fighter, VF3 is the ultimate 3D fighter. I'd also love a compelling Virtual On sequel designed to work properly with stock home console (360/PS3) controllers.

I'd love to see a new Fighters Megamix, but as a cross company collaboration.

SEGA: Virtua Fighters, Fighting Vipers, Last Bronx
Namco: Tekken and Soul Calibur
Tecmo/Koei: Dead or Alive and Dynasty Warriors (WTH not?)
