View Full Version : Halo Reach Xbox 360 Preview Disc Not For Resale

I found this is a box of stuff I bought a while back, is there any value to it and is it legal to own? It says on the disc if it is inserted into a regular console it will ban that console from xbox live. I am trying to sell it so feel free to throw me an offer.

It's the disc for the last Xbox 360 beta. It wont play anymore due to an update I believe, so it would only be for a collector piece. I was in the beta and still have mine, but no clue on a value.

Didn't a lot of people get this disc? They're not really that uncommon, I think.

i had a friend get one of those before reach was released, so it was probably distributed fairly well. i don't think it would be worth much unfortunately, it's a cool piece though

Seems odd that they would make two different discs.

If I remember correctly the green disc had the beta update from when they where "changing the disc format" on the disc and the silver discs were for the people who downloaded the update. that's the reason they say not to put them in a non-preview console now that the updates out it should be safe to use on any console (haven't tried it tho).
as Duke.Togo said the latest patch to reach caused the game not to boot however if you don't have the update you can still play the single player offline.
as for the value I have no idea i'd like to know myself.
