Hello everyone. As I'm sure a lot of people here are familiar with final fantasy VII misprints , i have a copy that has a misprint on the disc itself , i tried looking up info on this but all i can find is stuff about the ESRB change , or the misplaced "i", or the inner insert mistake. As far as I can tell the 3 discs are supposed to have 3 different silhouettes behind the number of the disc, but my disc 2 and 3 have the same fiery looking silhouette. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Below i have included pictures of the normal disc 2 and then a photo of my disc 2

That doesn't look normal. I just checked mine and it is Chocobo/Highland/Meteor, a normal set. I haven't seen too many copies of the game lately so I can't say for sure how common or rare it is.

I looked at the three copies I have and they all have the three different ones. Maybe you should ask Dangerboy to see if he knows.

Something worth checking. look and see if this is actually a Disc 2 or a disc 3 I am guessing when they print them they do the white Background then the blue design then the black text. Obviously that could result in a mislabeled Disc 3 or a misprinted disc 2. The latter being a far more unlikely error in the process.

is there any way to check without actually playing through the first disc?

Put the disc in the computer and look for the file with the SLUS name. The name is the game code... I think each disc has its own separate code.

i tried it on my girlfriends mac and it has an SCUS file . I put in disc 1 and its gave me SCUS_941.63 then disc 2 reads SCUS_941.64 and disc 3 reads SCUS_941.65

Then the discs have the right contents. Disc 1 is really CD 1 and so on.

You should give DB a fair price on this. If you do, I would keep that in mind next time we make trade at NAVA. ;)
