How's the ps2 edition of Dead to Rights?

Picked this up free from a seller on Amazon after he sent me the wrong game (bonus gift). Enjoying it, the mini-games are a nice way to break up the action, but kinda annoying. Up to chapter 3 so far in the prison, kinda boring.

It was a crappy game that didn't do it's cool unique gameplay thing very well. I have the XBox one and don't remember how far I got it, but I didn't beat it and when I stopped, I had little desire to go back and finish it.
Dead to Rights 2 had the same issues and was even more poorly received than the first one.
