I love, love, love Battle City. A friend of mine sometimes jokingly refers to himself as the "Mayor of Battle City" when we're playing some two player. Great game and just plain enjoyable.

I love Battle City so much it placed on my top 100 NES and Famicom games of all time right in part 1.

Finally some props to Battle City.

Battle City was the very first famicom game I ever played waaay back in the 80s. It was also the first time I saw and played a famicom. It was the only game we had available for a while so we played the crap out of it one summer. To top it off it was on my very first vacation overseas.... so lots of memories and sentimental value with this game. The opening tune played when you begin a game is burned into my memory as much as the Super Mario theme song.
