I noticed that alot of the used games got green stickers that say Recycled.

Whats the different between the used and the recycled games?

I think they just want to move away from the word "used"

May also be a Canadian thing. I've not seen that 'recycled' sticker on any US stuff... yet.

I'll ask Dangerboy next time I see him, he can tell me if his store is doing that or not.

We don't have green stickers. o.O Unless it is a canadian thing...

Local Play N Trades have green price tags...

Recycled is the new "previously owned"

For some reason they think if they say "used" you'll think the game has cooties.

The local PlayNTrade here still uses yellow dot stickers to denote used.

GameStop just recently moved to larger stickers that note the PowerUp discount price, so I don't think it would be something new they'd do.

What is PlayNTrade? Is that owned by the company that owns GameStop?

PNT is a franchise based used game store that focuses a bit more on classic
stuff. Regretfully, their stock never changes.

The one local to me has so many Xbox and PS2 games it's sickening. Movies, too.

They have a tiny bookcase of "retro" stuff that is laughable, though I have found some very nice titles there for next to nothing.

And yes, the stock almost never changes. I really do wonder how it stays in business.

Yeah, maybe it's just Gamestop Canada, but I've also noticed that recently at my local EBGames. "Recycled", what a poor choice of wording...

All 3-4 near me went out of business. I did find some rare things though.

I wouldn't mind being so sickened. Around here we got nothing except GS.

Yeah all the play and trades around me closed except one which changed it's name to '1-UP Games' They have a few retro stuff that you have to pay out the ass for, nothing that anyone really wants though. They have a bunch of halo and MW3 shirts too. They have some cool FF and Professor Layton plushies but they cost $35 each for about an 8 inch plush@_@. I rarely go there nowadays
