You can save when you finish the game or when you get game over. I'm not sure if you can resume from where you left off though.

The remake of Bonl's Adventure that Hudson put out. There was also a Lode Runner, Adventure Island, and Star Soldier remake in the series. I have Bonk and Star Soldier for the Gamecube. Same games, just cleaner graphics. Both are worth it. Need the other two.
