besides ebay? I used to have a very large collection of old gaming magazines. combination of EGM, PSM, Gamepro, Gamefan, etc going back to 1992 all the way up to about 1999-2000.

Being the stupid kid i was, i ended up getting rid of them a while back. I would love to go back and read those magazines again. Anyone know a good resource of where to find them?

Scans are fairly easy to find on torrent sites, but in recent years physical copies have started to be more desired by collectors.

A friend of mine from high school just dropped a ton of Nintendo Powers on my doorstep, maybe ask around people you know? Boxes of magazines are something you are most likely going to need to find locally.

I would definitely ask any gamer friends if they or anyone they know have any as a place to start. I know a few people who have tons of old mags just sitting in their attics. Luckily they are holding them for me until I get a bigger space to store them. Some magazines that are still in business offer back issues. Could be a place to start. Ask people that work at game stores, I've had luck finding a huge chunk of official Dreamcast magazines by asking an employee at a local Gamestop a few years ago to keep his ears open for me. Finding old gaming mags requires a little bit more effort than a lot of other types of collectibles.

I've gotten a couple of big stacks of old Nintendo Power magazines from thrift stores...for next to nothing. That was just luck though since usually the magazine bins only have hair salon fodder. Otherwise, I've received quite a few because people knew I collected stuff like that and they just gave them to me.

Besides what I lost in a flood last year I've been selling what I have on ebay and still have a bunch to sell,Problem is the shipping cost is Murder..

I don't look for them much but I do come across Old Gaming Magazines at Flea Markets..

I'd also suggest to Ask when hotting any garage sales..Sometimes people just don't put them out for sale.
