I was thinking of importing this game from Japan. I'm just wondering if anyone has played it. Is it any fun? Will it work on a North American 3DS?

dont know if its good, but like a regular DS, it will work cause the 3DS has no region encoding. Any Import even european will work fine.

I did some research and found out the 3DS is region locked for 3DS games and DSi enhanced DS games. However, DS games without DSi enhanced modes should work fine.

I did some research and found out the 3DS is region locked for 3DS games and DSi enhanced DS games. However, DS games without DSi enhanced modes should work fine.

Ok, cool...I should have mentioned I have not actually tried a Japanese 3DS game, only a Japanese DS game which worked fine..

It looks like your typical crappy Sentai fighting game (really the only good Sentai Games are Great battle Cyber and Zyuranger for famicom)

Still its pretty cool that they have some classic characters present, going as far back as Go Ranger in the game....maybe JAKQ is present?!

From what I know you play as GokaiRed mainly. GokaiRed can change into the 34 main red sentai, and GokaiSilver is unlockable.

Also I have dial-up so Youtube is INCREDIBLY slow. It took a 2min 25sec video 1 or 2 hours to load.

OH HELLS NO!! Totally WRONG! ... .and Zyuranger on Famicom flat out sucks. There are much, much better Sentai games on famicom than that crap.

There are quite a few good sentai games out there on various platforms. The great battles series (have all 5 of them cib on SFC and the ps1 great battles) are only "OK" imho.

I thought it was common knowledge that 3DS games are region locked? One of the first of the major handhelds ever to region lock I believe.
Wasn't sure about DSi, but do recall hearing about the DSi enhanced titles having issues.

I think the 3DS is region locked for 3DS games and DSi enhanced games. Imported DS games work fine.

Yeah the 3DS is unfortunately region locked.....Nintendo's reasoning for it is idiotic too. I'm still hoping when they redesign the 3DS (as they do every handheld) that maybe they will drop it. I really don't want to drop money on a Japanese 3DS to play imports.

Zyuranger is awesome! Jetman is the real sucky one. What are some other good sentai games that are action platformers or beat em ups for famicom? any tokusatsu or Ultraman games that dont suck?
