Hey everyone. First post here on Digital Press. I have heard a lot of great things about the people here. I thought I would come over and post here also.

I just got a Miracle Piano. It has no chords. I am going to make a PC cable since I do not have the games for any other system and I can get the rom for the pc so I can test it.

My question is about the sustain pedal. Seeing as how almost all the pedals I can find online look like they have a mono 1/4" plug and the piano looks like it has what looks like almost an atari 7800 power port. Can I just knock off the end of a cheepo sustain pedal and duel jumper and have that work? I was wandering around online and I can not find this bit of info out there. I will try to eventually get the actual pedal, but for using it right now I would like to see if I can get this to work.

Thanks for any help.

The plug on the real sustain pedal is just a little thing that looks like a jumper you'd find on a motherboard or the back of a HDD. I'm not positive, but I think these just operate as switches, so your idea should work just fine. I haven't done so, but it should be very easy to test.

If you aren't able to get any chords to play from your keyboard, it sounds like you have bigger problems to deal with than the sustain pedal.

Wow, even when I am not trying my brain automatically wants to make a pun.

Alright. I will see if I cant track down a cheepo sustain pedal and replace the end. Then get a power cord....after that I will report back with my findings.

I'm interested to find out. My Miracle is just missing the pedal.

If it is just used as a flip switch you should be able to use the drum pedal from Rock Band or World Tour if that makes finding one easer.

I never even thought about that. That should make it easier to find. Thanks for the idea!
