Just to let everyone know about these cables that allow you to get AV output from a TG16 without a TurboBooster or internal mod.

I took a chance and picked some up last week after someone had left positive feedback on them, and hooked them up today. The picture looks great, and it's easy to install, just plugging five wires onto the pins on the back of the TG16 unit. I had been bidding on Boosters for the last 5 months or so and they always go for over $35 with shipping. These cables started at $20 but he;s dropped them to $8. And the shipping was fast too, shipped Mon. and got them today. I was very impessed and thought I do him a favor an let you guys know about these, check them out!

I wonder what sort of pin headers he uses. I'm still looking for something (close to a full 69 pin socket) that I could trim down and just use to plug in and out.

Thanks for the tip. I was looking at Boosters on ebay also for the past several months, but they always sell for more than I want to spend. This looks like a nice alternative....

It is actually quite easy to solder leads onto the pins on the inside of the Tg16 and then run them to jacks on the case. There is plenty of room on the right side of the case for the 3 RCA jacks. I have done this in the past and it worked great.

You can get a pin-out of the bus here:

I rigged up a cable like this, and I used some wires from an old PC case. The 1, 2, or 3-pin connectors from the reset/power/keylock stuff match up with the backplane connector on the TG16 perfectly.
