I was going through the New York Times archives, and I found this article on a large 2'x3' controller called the Turbo Touch 360. Anyone ever see one of these things? Apparently they were making it for the Genesis and SNES.

I've got a normal sized SNES one, but I never knew of a giant version.

Is that company still around? I don't know if making a gigantic touch sensitive controller for $2000 would really have differentiated their company from the other peripheral manufacturers in the '90s marketplace all that well.

"Triax's main earnings will continue to come from its ordinary controllers, Mr. Kolsky added."
At least they had no delusions as to potential runaway success of this absurd creation! I can't imagine a single one would have been sold to the sports bar/amusement park/restaurant/wealthy individual market.
