The DP Guide Random Generator of "Sorry About That" Titles has today mistakenly chosen Cosmic Corridor for the Atari 2600, and I might add feels VERY bad about it.

Well... what is there to say? I'll let my "slant" below speak for my personal opinion. What are your thoughts on the game? Better still, what would you have done to Cosmic Corridor to make it something more than a me-too shoot'em up. Was there ANY hope?

Cosmic Corridor (Atari 2600, by Zimag) $30/R6
From a January 1983 Price List: Dealer Cost: $13.71. Suggested Retail Price: $19.95. SANTULLI SLANT: A big-time glut of uninspired titles graced the shelves - and soon after the clearance bins - of stores just before "the crash". One of the most commonly seen was Cosmic Corridor, which seems to have been inspired by the far superior Vanguard. Endless blasting of endless waves of enemies in an endless tunnel. There must be more to life than this. [Gr: 3, So: 5, Ga: 3, Ov: 3] #708-111.

I had the chance to buy Cosmic Corridor at a local used entertainment store, but I passed on the opportunity. I really regret having done that, not because it's a fun game to play, but because it's a pretty valuable collector's item.
That's really all I've got to say. You can turn off the microphone now.

I've never owned or played it, but it looks like it sucks. Maybe just for gags I'll try it on my emulator, or do I dare?

Probably would have helped if I captured a picture with the actual SHIPS in them, eh?

It's not god-awful, it's just boring.

I love that line: "There must be more to life than this." Kinda reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Itchy & Scratchy have their violence removed, and all the kids become bored and go play outside (cue rubbing of eyes).
