Not a whole lot I'm afraid. Maybe like $5 tops.

Wow $41 for loose with overlays? Maybe its the overlays that a worth the money because just a loose cart isn't worth anything unless this is one of those weird cases where two people really wanted it and there were no others on ebay at the time.

BTW, I can't find the completed auction. I'm not saying I don't believe you, I just can't find it.

I'm guessing the overlays were part of it.

had no idea the overlays were hard to find.....about 4 or 5 years ago i found a whole mess of intellivison stuff in a dumpster. games, manuals ,overlays, and the intellivoice attachment , included in the games i found congo bongo (which i traded with mr. john hardie for an atari jaguar), the river raid i just sold and about 20 or 25 common titles

I love stories like this.

1. Someone takes the initiative so save something they're passionate about

2. Free money.

Oh man. Thank you all for bringing this to my attention. I had no idea that this game was uncommon. Pitfall, obviously another Activision game, is common as common can be, so I just assumed the same for River Raid. I have a CIB copy on the shelf that might have to go on eBay to help pay for other games. I hate to see it go, but I had no idea it was of any value. I do personally think that the INTV version is better than the 2600 one, but not by that much - not $50 worth anyways. It is a super fun game, but I'm sure the 2600 version can hold me out.

Last year my complete minty one ended for like 8 bucks. 42 sounds high

One CIB copy went for 93 bucks on ebay about 3 weeks ago, but then last week, a nearly identical copy went for 30, so I don't know what to think.

the original reason i posted mine was because i saw someone had a complete copy and he was asking $140 for it , i assume that nobody has bought that copy yet , but then right after mine sold another copy popped up and sold for $30 with the overlays in worse condition than mine were
