Atari 2600 Supercharger for only 5 dollars!!!!!

The other day I went to the Music Recyclery and did very good. tons of boxed intv games for a 1.99 each and Best of all.

An ATARI 2600 SUPERCHARGER for only 5 bucks.

I was very thrilled

It's a small chain aroung the Chicago Milwaukee area, their obscure stuff is dirt cheap. Common stuff is sickly expensive. i.e. Mega Man X3 was under the counter for $105 loose. All current systems are that expensive. So they are clueless.

I also have a broken supercharger..

I have a few tapes and the "Stella Gets a New Brain!" Game collection on compact disc..

Here's my collection of Starpath Supercharger stuff..

The Super charger is on the left..it comes in the box in the center..
The Supercharger on the left is my broken one..I bought it with the two tapes below it..broken..but the tapes work..

Then I bought the sealed Supercharger that comes with a Phaser Patrol tape...It came with the Stella Gets a New Brain book and game collection CD ..I paid $100.00 for it on Ebay....(I fought for it)..

I got tired of trying to get that Broken Supercharger working..I have no clue on what's wrong with it.


I used to have this when I was a kid so I wanted it again..even though I collect games..having as a kid just gave me more drive to get it..

To be honest..I really don't know pricing on these..today..
It's looked like a good deal for $31.00..I payed $25.00 for the broken Supercharger and two tapes..

I bought my stuff about 2 yrs ago....and I'm Greedy..I was looking for this..so I was out to get what I wanted..
I kept getting outbid...I was not trying hard enough..I was out bid for a Combo CD Supercharger set-up that sold for over $100.00
I was really surprised..I put a $50.00 max bid and it doubled at the end of the auction... :o

Then I found another..It sold for $112.00..For just the Tapes and Supercharger..I was outbid..by a late bidder..when I had a very slow ISP server..
I remember the person who won it/outbid me.. emailing me with a HA HA I won..after the auction ended...but he was just messing around..we talked afterwards..

So I guess that was a blessing..I got a better deal with what I got..and I send the ended auction to the guy who said Ha Ha,,,lol

I bought my supercharger brand new in the box about 5 years ago from someone who had a stock pile of them. I think i got it from this guy. http://www.jackbergsales.com/toys/StarpathSuperchargerwithPhaserPatrolforAtari2600.h tm but it looks like he is sold out now.

Oh, I forgot, you can convert 2600 roms to wav format with a program floating somewhere on the net. Burn the wav files to a cd, plug your portable cd player into your supercharger and bam, insta game. Hell, i guess you can even put them on your MP3 player too.
