I know this is my first post but I've been lurking these forums for years. I've actually been using the rarity guide since I started collecting.

I came across a PSX model SCPH-5903 back in 2005 or 2006. I didn't know much about it when I picked it up thinking it was just a normal SCPH-1000 model. I haven't been able to find much information about it all since I've gotten it. I know it was a Chinese release with around 10,000 unit manufactured.

What I'm trying to figure out is exactly how rare these systems are compared to other PSX models, and if possible a rough estimate on its value.

The system is pristine to the point that it still has the new electronic smell when you open the box lol.
The only issue with it is for some reason the person that I received it from gave it to me in a SPCH-1000 box instead of its original blue VCD box.
All the accessories, manuals, and demo are still sealed and brand new.

I can provide pictures if anyone is interested.

Thank for you help guys!

They seem to be bit rarer than debug stations and SCPH-1000 Japanese models, but there has been one on Ebay for 6 months and it hasn't sold at the $189.95 shipped price. I'd guess probably $75-200 depending on condition as that seems the going rate for the rarer obtainable models (ie not including the 10 Million giveaway model)

I did see that guys on ebay, but it seems to be in rough condition.

Thanks for the answer.
