What is your favorite retro versus Karate video game where one human fights against another (in other words, no Yie Ar Kung Fu).
The choices are :
Karate Champ (Arcade, NES, iPhone, whichever you prefer)
International Karate (Commodore 64)
Way of the Exploding Fist (Commodore 64)
Din't think many USAerseven heard of 'Fist', it was a semi popular game in UK on cassette.

I voted for IK/WKC. Had it been Fist II in the poll instead of 1, I might have picked it for the adventure mode.

I'm from the States and I loved Way of the Exploding Fist, despite the need to turn down the volume to brace for Bruce Lee's digitized death cry at the game's start. My older cousin gave me a 5.0 floppy disk copy of the game (most of my games came from him), and where he nabbed it from I have no idea. Its origin might well have been a UK bulletin board for all I know.

There's absolutely no way I could have came into this topic not thinking Karate Champ. I just posted about the game in another thread. That game is awesome.

Half Point. Full Point.
I always got a kick out of being awarded a "half point" after jump kicking my opponent in the face. The proof that my strike made full contact seemed rather self evident with my opponent sprawled out unconscious on the ground, but what do I know...

Karate Champ for me...I can remember playing this as a kid at the local drug store, and I remember getting it for the Nes when it came out...Loved that game back then.
