I'm in need of someone who could repair my damaged DS Lite and GP2X. I've got plenty of stuff to trade in return for said services but can also Paypal money. Please PM and let me know if you can help me out. Thanks.

Description of issues?
My DS Lite's top screen has a line going across it and both screens flicker quite a lot. The unit will also occasionally just power itself down randomly. I've ruled out the battery as being a source of that problem.
The GP2X had a bed frame fall on it, but there isn't any visible damage. The unit will power on, but the display is unreadable/unintelligible.

The DS lite may be water damaged I have seen Gameboys and Ipods do that when water corrodes the ribbon cable clips.
The GP2X has a pulverized LCD that will be almost impossible to find a replacement for.
I say try fixing the DS Lite yourself and sell the GP2X for parts unless you can get a sacrificial unit.

I'd check the DS Lite's ribbons first, maybe they just need cleaning or reseating if you're lucky. Worst case, an entire LCD replacement.
I can handle that if you like, quite a bit of experience working with them.

Two options:
Videogames ETC in Chicago. Sean Kelly is very experienced and reasonable, although it will cost you $30 to diagnose the problem, which will be applied to the cost if you decide to have it repaired. If the repair costs only $30, that's how much you pay. Call them, they are a regular business with a shop.
TheGoldenAx on Atariage (and probably here)- you can find his threads on the first page of the atariage.com marketplace. He's pretty handy, might also check with him.
