Details are sketchy and vague at best, but there you go.
What type of game do you think Sir Paul would be best suited for?

Eh, as a massive Beatles fanboy I'll probably be buying it regardless. But Michael Jackson supposedly composed for Sonic 3, and there's really only one way up from him, and that's to Sir Macca.
On a semi-related note, does anyone else reckon the Beach Bowl galaxy music from Super Mario Galaxy 1 sounds a little like Obla-Di, Obla-Da?

Between his horrible classical music, the Fireman, DJ remix, and solo albums of the last 20 years, I can only imagine how bad this will be. Let's not forget the abysmal "Give My Regards to Broadstreet" that found its way onto the Commodore 64.

I'm a massive Beatles fanboy too, but I have to admit at least 80% of McCartney's music from 1970 to today is putrid. Back in The Beatles, he had Lennon, Harrison, Starr, and Martin to stand up to him and tell him when something sucked. After The Beatles, he surrounded himself with yes men, similar to George Lucas.
My guess is whatever video game music he composes will be boring, derivative, and mediocre, but whoever he ends up working with will tell him he's a genius.
