View Full Version : Reproduction cartridge labels, any good options?
I have a few fairly valuable games that have trashed out cartridge labels. Some of the standout titles include Ogre Battle The March of the Black Queen SNES, Super Mario World 2 SNES, and Mario Kart 64. What is the overall consensus: Keep them as is, or get them reproduced? Are there any good vendors for this, or any good scans/templates out there? I do have a color laser and can buy some sticker sheets...

I would hope that the consensus would be that if you choose to do this, you make the labels look different from the original labels. This way, if you decide to sell the games, they get stolen, you die, etc etc, whomever winds up with the games doesn't get gypped thinking they're getting a nice looking game only to find out it's a fake label. Also, it can be pretty fun making a cool looking label, designing it yourself, printing it out and slapping it on. I've done that for a few games and was always happy with the results.

yeah or at least take the original label and type some sort of signature over the label so people know it's not original. even a small mark or symbol could do this
