Couldn't find any on Ebay so just curios on what exactly it is and how much they go for

It's a generic insert made for display by places like GameStop (in this case, it' was done by/for TRU). It's not worth more than a few bucks, if that.

Those are pretty common at Toys R Us. Unless you find one for a rare game it probably wouldn't be worth more than $5-10. For yours a Ninja Gaiden collectible might give you a bit more for it but I wouldn't expect much more than $10.
