Most fun simultaneous co-op games?

I wanna hear other's suggestions as I have played the crap out of the games I already have. Please no games past the 64-Bit time period, as this is a classic game section of the forum and I am only looking to accept games from then or before (preferably before).

GAMES I ALREADY PLAY

Battletoads (NES)
Contra (NES)
Gunstar Heroes (Genesis)
Streets of Rage (Genesis)
Golden Axe (Genesis)
Legendary Wings (NES)
Firepower 2000 (SNES)
Ms. Pac-Man (Genesis)

Just a couple off the top of my head:

Life Force (NES)
Parodius (Famicom)
River City Ransom (NES)
Double Dragon (SMS)

Ikari Warriors. The most fun I had in 87. Keep in mind I was four years old BTW. Having an older brother that can play better than you doesn't hurt either.

Super Smash T.V. as long as you are playing with someone who doesn't take all the power-ups! (I'm looking at you, brother...)

Parodius Duh!

My personal favorites:

Smash TV or Super Smash TV (NES/SNES) the NES version needs the Four Score for two players as each player needs two controllers.
Super Bomberman 2 (SNES)
Panel de Pon! aka Tetris Attack (SNES)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV Turtles in Time (SNES)
Super Mario Kart (SNES)
GunStar Heroes (Genesis)

I'll update this list later when I think of more obvious things I'm missing because of my current inability to think

Tron 2.0

Sengoku 2 (Neo-Geo)
Bubble Bobble (NES/Arcade)
Snow Bros (Genesis)
Nam 1975 (Neo-Geo)
Hard Corps Uprising (XBAL/PSN)
Final Fight (Arcade and other ports)
Super C (NES)
Metal Slug (Neo-Geo)
Monster Lair (Turbografx 16)

Pocky n Rocky (SNES)
Jackal (NES)
Crisis Force (Famicom)
Balloon Fight (NES)
Double Dragon II (NES)
Mario Bros. (NES) and the Famicom Disk update Kaettekita Mario Bros. is even better.
Bubble Bobble (NES)
Rampage (NES) Oh, wait... you said "fun," right? If you want long and monotonous, Rampage is your game.

D'oh, just saw that Pocky and Rocky was mentioned. However, Secret of Mana was not. Great co-op game, and is for up to 3 players rather than just 2.

Thanks for reminding me of this one, I used to always play the arcade version with my older brother!
Do you know if there were any good home console versions of this? I would love to play that again.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I'm really looking forward to picking up Super Smash TV, Pocky and Rocky, and Super C. I may also give Toe Jam and Earl a try... However the gameplay kind of seems repetitive and dull. Oh well I guess I'll find out the hard way... Anyways a game that famous can't be that bad right?

Mario Party and Mario Kart. Not going past 64-bit.

The first Super Smash Bros is fun too.
